Engine
The U17-5 Premium features a reliable and powerful 16.1HP (ross) Kubota engine, which complies with Tier 4 Stage IV emission regulations.
The rear bonnet allows for easy access to main serviceable items, along with a clean engine layout.
Comfortable Operator Space
The U17-5 premium comes standard with a semi suspension seat and comfortable wrist rests, reducing operator fatigue at the end of a long day of work.
The meter panel is conveniently placed at the front of the machine which allows easy vision and within hand reach.
Operator Platform Layout
The operator platform has been increased by +30mm when compared to the U17-3. This allows for more optimal operator movement and comfort while operating the excavator.
Further to this, AUX1 and AUX2 are controlled via the control levers eliminating the foot pedal control for AUX1.
Standard AUX1 and AUX2
The U17-5 Premium comes standard from factory with AUX1 and AUX2 for versatility and is perfect for variance types of work such as operation with a tilt hitch.
AUX1 and AUX2 can be conveniently operated via proportional controls on the operation levers, eliminating the previous foot control.
Oil flow rate are also easily adjustable through the front mounted meter panel.
Front Bush Pins and Stability
Pin bushings are installed at all of the pivot points along the swing bracket, boom, arm, and bucket. Pin type bushings not only last longer, they are easier to replace when necessary.
Double flanged track rollers improve stability and travel performance for operator comfort.
Tracks can be expanded from 990mm for narrow spaces and up to 1300mm to offer greater stability, perfect for flexibility when tackling jobs.
